Frequently asked questions
Do I need Claude?
For the summary, yes. Persist Notes uses Claude Code with your Claude subscription. Recording and transcribing work without Claude: without it, you get the full transcript, without the summary.
Does the audio leave my computer?
No. Recording and transcription happen on your computer. Only the transcript text and your notes go to Claude, through your account, to generate the summary.
Can I cancel?
Yes, whenever you want, through the subscription management link in your purchase email. Your plan continues until the end of the paid period. In the first 14 days, you can ask for a refund without giving a reason.
What happens to my files?
They stay yours, in the folder you chose, no matter what: free plan, expired subscription, or no internet. The app never hides or deletes your meetings because of your plan.
Can I pay with Pix?
Yes. In Brazil, checkout accepts cards and Pix. In other countries, the available payment methods are shown at checkout.
What about taxes?
Sales are handled by Paddle, our authorized reseller (merchant of record). Paddle calculates and collects your country's taxes and sends the receipt. The final amount appears at checkout, before you pay.
