Frequently asked questions
The app doesn't record the other participants' audio (macOS)
macOS requires a separate permission for system audio. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and turn on Persist Notes. Without this permission, macOS delivers silence instead of an error, and the app warns you after a few seconds of recording.
The app doesn't pick up my microphone
On macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, and turn on Persist Notes. On Windows: Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone, and allow access for desktop apps.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The app records your computer's audio, so it works with any calling tool, without joining the meeting.
Transcription is slow
Transcription happens on your own computer, without sending anything to the internet. During the meeting it runs in the background at low priority so it doesn’t get in the way of the call; the meeting is ready shortly after you end it. On older computers it can take longer. The first time, the app downloads the transcription model (about 550 MB).
The summary wasn't generated
The summary depends on Claude Code. Install Claude Code, open Terminal, type claude, and sign in with your Claude account. Then, in the meeting, click Regenerate summary. The transcript is saved even when the summary fails.
Where are my meetings stored?
In the folder you choose in the app. Each meeting is a .md file, and the images from your notes are in the anexos folder (attachments). The recording audio also stays on your computer.
How do I move my meetings to another computer?
Copy your meetings folder to the other computer and choose that folder in the app.
